Dinerware sponsors Guest Chef on the Waterfront Wednesday, July 14, 6 to 9pm

June 30, 2010 – Dinerware, Inc., a leading developer of restaurant POS (point of sale) software, today announced its sponsorship of FareStart’s event “Guest Chef on the Waterfront.” The affair celebrates gifted chefs and restaurants that support FareStart. It attracts more than 1,200 food aficionados who will savor tastes from more than 70 of the Seattle area’s most talented chefs, breweries, wineries and purveyors of fine food and beverages. All proceeds from this popular event directly benefit FareStart’s job training and placement programs.

Participating chefs and restaurants, all of whom have participated previously, include both established favorites and buzzworthy newcomers. For Seattle foodies, Guest Chef on the Waterfront is this summer’s hot ticket.

Also attending will be thirty Rhone Rangers member winemakers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California who will pour their premium Rhone varietal wines. Guests can compare red varietals including Syrah (Shiraz), Grenache, Mourvédre and Petite Sirah, as well as the white varietals Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne, and selections of the summertime favorite – Rosé!

New this year at Guest Chef on the Waterfront, FareStart is working with Open Table and Seattle Met magazine to offer a ‘Reservations Station’ where guests will be able to make reservations for any booked Guest Chef Night in 2010. Reservations for Guest Chef Night are usually accepted six weeks in advance.
